Yin Aphinyanaphongs is a physician scientist and is the founding Director of the PAU at NYU. He received his MD and PhD degrees from Vanderbilt University in 2010. His goal is to demonstrate the potential of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare through the combination of research and operations. The Predictive Analytics Unit is the realization of the technical, social, and organizational structures needed to successfully translate clinical predictive models to the bedside.
